Medical Check-Up for Professional Athletes
Our check-ups and performance testing for professional athletes comply with current legislation and the requirements of sports federations and associations. At the same time, we enhance them with individual diagnostics based on the needs of coaches, clubs, and the athlete’s development stage.
Goals of the check-up:
- Evaluate the athlete’s current performance level
- Identify weak points limiting training effectiveness
- Tailor recommendations to the season phase and preparation for peak events
What’s included in the professional athlete check-up
- Metabolic performance testing of the cardiovascular system, muscles, and lungs
- Analysis of training progress in relation to training plans and game load
- Performance potential analysis – overall and by body segment
- Preparation for national team events and international tournaments
- Targeted assessment of overused or weakened body parts, with specific recommendations for physiotherapy, recovery, nutrition, and lifestyle
- Injury prevention focused on overuse injuries and RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport)
- A detailed report including recommendations on:
- Training zones (e.g., based on VO₂ max)
- Body composition optimization (fat, muscle, water balance)
- Short- and medium-term training modifications in cooperation with coaches and support staff
