Sports Medical Check-Up for Amateur Athletes
What’s included:
- Initial medical examination including testing of static and dynamic strength of limbs and core
- Risk factor screening based on the extended Lausanne Protocol by the International Olympic Committee (IOC)
- Laboratory testing of blood and urine in accordance with legislation and athlete category
- Additional lab tests tailored to individual health conditions and family history
- Cardiology examinations – resting and exercise ECG, heart response to various levels of physical stress
- Spirometry – lung function testing
- Functional musculoskeletal assessment – focusing on joints, tendons, and muscle groups relevant to the athlete’s sport and injury history
- Ergometry and spiroergometry – standard performance diagnostics evaluating cardiovascular and blood pressure responses to exertion
- Additional examinations if needed – musculoskeletal ultrasound, 24-hour ECG Holter, and blood pressure Holter in case of suspicious findings

The check-up includes a 12-month follow-up service package, tailored to the examination results and the type of sport. The package may include:
- Priority care, even outside regular clinic hours
- Nutritional counseling
- Medical consultations for injuries or post-surgical care
- Regular physiotherapy
- Additional health services as needed
